Those that have been selected to represent St Francis of Assisi School at the event will travel to Ashuburton, as the event will be held at Ashburton Domain on Wednesday 6 December. The postponement date will be advised if there is a cancellation. The following link is the Programme of Events, please be aware this can run ahead or behind schedule on the day.

Athletes are expected to wear the school sports singlet that they have been issued and school PE shorts. They are also expected to wear sensible footwear. Children can compete in spiked shoes, bare feet or running shoes. Please note the information around spikes in the Primary Sports Canterbury Athletics Information at the link above. Hats are compulsory and although we will have some sunscreen available we would appreciate if you could apply sunscreen to your children before the event. They will need a larger lunch than usual and a named water bottle.

On the day we are hoping that parents/whānau, who are able, will transport their children to and from the event, however if you are unable to do this we will co-ordinate transport for your child. Please let us know whether or not you are able to transport your child via this Google Form, we thank you in advance for your support with this. After filling out the Google Form, if you are able to transport, you will be called to advise what time you will need to arrive at Ashburton Domain and what time approximately you will be able to leave.
