Over the last couple of weeks students have been given the opportunity to express their interest in playing basketball for St Francis of Assisi School. Before we confirm the teams and enter them in the competition we need confirmation from parents that their child is available to play.
The two competitions that will run in Terms 2 and 3 are the Year 7/8 league on Fridays and the Year 5/6 league on Thursdays. Both leagues will play at Bishopdale YMCA, and teams will play one game per week, that will start anytime between 3.30pm - 8.00pm, and last half an hour.
The competition will run for 12 weeks, starting in Term 2, Friday 12 May and running for 6 weeks. The competition will then break for 5 weeks and start again in Term 3, Friday 28 July, and run for another 6 weeks.
The exact cost will be calculated when we have confirmed how many players we have, however it is usually no more than $30.00 per student.
