All children in years 5-8 are involved in a winter sports programme which is on a Thursday afternoon. This commences on Thursday 30 May (week 5) and finishes in Term 3 on Thursday 29 August (week 6).
Students will require the following gear:
Soccer: Playing top provided by school and their school blue PE shorts.
Hockey: Playing top provided, shin pads and a mouthguard are compulsory.
Rugby: Playing top provided, mouthguards are compulsory.
Netball: Playing strip is provided to students.
Football, Rugby and Hockey require school sports socks to be worn. These can be purchased from the school office at a cost of $18.50.
Mouthguards and shin pads can be purchased from The Warehouse and KMart. Hockey sticks will be provided to students to use on a Thursday, if they do not have one already.
All playing strips are provided to the students for the duration of the Weekly competition. These are to be returned washed to the school after the competition has finished.
The students must remember to bring their correct gear to school on a Thursday. If they do not, they will not be required to stay at school. As the students are representing their school a high level of behaviour is expected from the students at all times.
