St Francis of Assisi Duathlon
On the morning of the event parents of the students who have entered St Francis of Assisi Duathlon are to drop students' bikes off to Walter Park from 8.30am, where there will be an area marked off which will be the transition area for the event.
All students competing in this event and non competing Kaupeka students, will walk to Walter Park at 9am and will walk the course at 9.30am with races starting at 10am. We will then race students in the following order:
10.00am - Start - Non competitive teams
10.20am - Year 5 Boys & Year 5 Girls
10.40am - Year 6 Boys and Year 6 Girls
11 00am - Year 7 Boys and Year 7 Girls
11.20am - Year 8 Boys and Year 8 Girls
11.40 - Finish
As we will need to wait for one age group to complete the run before sending another, these times are approximate, and age groups may end up racing slightly before or after the times given above.
If the weather deteriorates we will confirm by 7.30am tomorrow morning as to whether the event will take place.
