Catholic Winter Sport Tournament

These students, Catholic Winter Sport Tournament Teams, have been selected to represent St Francis of Assisi School at the Catholic Winter Sport Tournament on Thursday 11 May. This is a friendly half day tournament against other catholic schools from Christchurch. Parent's of these students should have recieved this Google Form, which needs to be completed by Wednesday.

Everyone will be traveling to and from this event by bus, and the cost of this will be included in student's account. The bus will leave school at 10.15 am and will return to school at 3.00 pm.

Students are expected to come to school in their winter sport uniform on Thursday and bring with them anything needed for the sport they will be playing e.g. mouthguard, shin pads etc. Those that haven't been issued their uniform yet will get it tomorrow afternoon. 

Students will also need a larger lunch than usual, a warm jacket and a named water bottle.

Supporters are more than welcome, games will be played between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm.

Football will be at the South Hagley Football fields.
Hockey will be at Hospital Corner.
Rugby will be beside the football grounds on the Rugby Fields at South Hagley.
Netball will be played on the netball courts. Unfortunately the carpark will not be available for parking due to the work being done on the netball centre.
